Unfortunately, we can't ship Auchroisk 27 Year Old 1990 (cask 13827) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory) to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
An impressive bottle of Auchroisk, distilled in August of 1990 and matured in a refill butt for a long 27 years, after which time it was cracked open and bottled in July 2018 by Signatory Vintage. An outturn of 551 bottles were released at cask strength, a punchy 53.7% ABV.
Nose: Currants, gingersnap biscuits, with honeyed nuts buttery fudge.
Palate: Fresh toast, roasted walnut, caramelised hazelnuts and a drizzle of melted white chocolate with just a hint of pepper spice.
Finish: Buttery, flaky cinnamon swirls.
