From Douglas Laing’s Old Particular range, this Speyside single malt was distilled in 2007 and matured for 15 years in a refill hogshead, bottled at 48.4% ABV.
Orchard fruits followed by vanilla fudge, barley sugar and buttered shortbread. Subtle floral notes mingle with lemon zest.
Honey-drizzled pears, green apple peel and soft peach blend with malty biscuit and vanilla cream. Warming pepper, clove and ginger build at the back, balanced by sweet cereal and toffee.
Malt sweetness, citrus zest and peppery oak giving way to buttery pastry and delicate spice.
