A Signatory bottling of single malt from the Auchroisk Distillery, drawn from a pair of hogsheads that were laid down in March 2007 and cracked open in April 2020. At 13 years of age, this ought to be quite a treat.
Malted milk biscuits, coffee beans, warm apple turnovers and custard.
more apples, now with a savoury hint of pear skin earthiness and olive oil.
Oaky warmth builds on the finish, with perhaps a hint of mint leaf popping up.
