Description
This single malt from Auchroisk joins Douglas Laing's Provenance collection. Distilled in November 2012, the whisky matured in a single refill hogshead until April 2023, when a total of 393 bottles were released.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vibrant barley and buttery biscuits lead, with a touch of spiced apple in the distance.
Palate
Layers of runny caramel and Barley Sugar sweeties, candied citrus, and woody spice.
Finish
Nutty malt and spices linger, with a touch of dried apple and toasted vanilla.
