An indie bottling of single malt produced at the Auchroisk Distillery, bottled by the wonderful North Star Spirits. This one was aged for 13 years in a single Oloroso sherry hogshead, from 2006 to 2019, before being bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 280 bottles.
Christmas cake, dried peels, chocolate shavings and a touch of charcoal.
Raisins, prunes, a touch of dried cherry too. More than enough vanilla-rich malt to back it up.
Vanilla once again, now with sponge cake and jam tarts.
