Auchentoshan 10 Year Old 2013 (cask 18160) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
This single malt was distilled at Auchentoshan in 2013 and filled into a single refill barrel, where it stayed for the following 10 years. The cask was opened by Douglas Laing in 2023, releasing a total of 298 bottles for the Old Particular series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Floral notes of soft, juicy peaches and cream, drizzled with honey and backed by buttery oak.
Palate
A touch of ginger, candied orange peel and lemon drop sweeties, with delicate spice and hints of marshmallow.
Finish
Grapefruit, mint chocolate, pepper, and anise.
