Arran 12 Year Old 2013 - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
This Arran 12 Year Old Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Old Particular by Douglas Laing was distilled in September 2013 and aged in a bourbon barrel before being bottled in April 2026 with no colouring and no chill-filtration at 48.4% ABV. Just 258 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Expect heaps of tropical fruits, with papaya and mango married with vanilla buttercream.
Palate
Juicy and mouthcoating, offering apricots and cream topped with delicate barley sugar.
Finish
Lingers long, with more of the bright fruity notes as before, paired with a touch of cinnamon.
