Wine Cask
This independently bottled Ardmore is part of the Cask Noir series from Brave New Spirits, launched in September 2023! The series showcases whisky from classic distilleries in unusual casks, and each label takes inspiration from vintage cinema posters, boasting its own ‘movie title’. Distilled at the end of 2013, this peated Highland whisky spent nine years in a first-fill Rivesaltes wine barrique before being bottled at cask strength.
Dark, toasted spices, brown sugar, and a green vegetal undertone.
Burnt caramel and very dark chocolate are balanced by foam banana sweets.
Sweet, smoky, and a touch herbal.
