This was distilled at the Ardmore distillery in Autumn 2003. It was then aged for 9 years in a single cask (a refill barrel) before bottling for the Provenance range in Winter 2013.
Nose: Hints of soft peat smoke and honey. A little juicy barley and spice.
Palate: Honeyed, creamy palate entry with a hint of tar. Molasses notes develop, with dark chocolate.
Finish: Long, chocolatey finish. Juicy sultanas.
