Bourbon
A bottle of Ardmore single malt, which has had a pretty intriguing maturation. After distillation in 2009, the whisky spent the next eight years in a pair of barrels which had previously held both bourbon and Islay whisky, imparting a rather unique flavour profile. In August 2018 Signatory bottled the Highlander at 46% for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Whispers of peat smoke with creamy vanilla aromas and ripe orchard fruit.
Sweet vanilla returns, shrouded by gentle smoke and fruity hot cross buns with butter.
Orange blossom and charred fresh fruit with a hint of spice.
