Ardmore 8 Year Old 2008 (cask 11632) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
An indie bottling of 8 year old Ardmore single malt - smoky Highland deliciousness ahoy! It was aged in a refill barrel from July 2008 to February 2017 before being bottled by Douglas Laing for the Provenance range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Smoked cereal, orange oil and a touch of mint leaf.
Palate
Yet more smoke, now with a helping of BBQ char to bolster the spiciness.
Finish
A subtle sweetness of burnt sugar and honey appears late on the finish.
