Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Oodles of meaty, peaty smoke, with a light touch of sugary pastries.

Palate: More smoke, more brown sugar, more toasted malt!

Finish: As you might expect, the BBQ notes last on the finish.

Try This Before it's Gone!

This was our first delve into indie Ardmore and you get a lot of bangs for your measly £35!
This is a powerful yet smooth bottling with, as you'd expect, loads of peat and meat on the nose with a lovely vanilla-y sweetness to it. The sweetness is intensified in the mouth but with that all enveloping smoky warmth bringing a light chili note in the mouth (?). Longish finish at the end and the smoke continues with some very light almost parma violet notes.
If you haven't delved too far into indie bottlings give this a go - then go and try some more of your favourite distilleries .....
