Single cask Ardmore single malt, independently bottled by the ever-wonderful Douglas Laing. This peaty Highlander was distilled back in November 1995 and left to age in a refill hogshead for 21 years, until November 2018, when it was bottled with an outturn of 295 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Caramelised dates and streaky bacon crisps, with a touch of heather.
Palate
Still has hints of heather to it, though now paired with roasted citrus and oily walnut.
Finish
Chilli chocolate, orange oil and greengages.
