Unfortunately, we can't ship Ardmore 21 Year Old 1997 (cask 12984) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing) to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
Single cask Ardmore single malt, independently bottled by the ever-wonderful Douglas Laing. This peaty Highlander was distilled back in November 1995 and left to age in a refill hogshead for 21 years, until November 2018, when it was bottled with an outturn of 295 bottles.
Nose: Caramelised dates and streaky bacon crisps, with a touch of heather.
Palate: Still has hints of heather to it, though now paired with roasted citrus and oily walnut.
Finish: Chilli chocolate, orange oil and greengages.
