An indie Ardmore, aged in a refill hogshead for 21 years. This one was distilled back in October 1996 and left to mature until April 2018, when Hunter Laing came along and bottled it for the Old Malt Cask series.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Softly smoky at first, with caramelised walnuts and sponge cake in support.

Palate

Honey, hot peat and a hint of damp oak.

Finish

Lasting green apple sharpness and BBQ char.
