A single cask bottling of Ardmore single malt Scotch whisky, bottled up by Douglas Laing for a special Father's Day release in the Premier Barrel range. This whisky was given 12 years of maturation in one cask, before being handsomely bottled up at 46% ABV, with 284 of these snazzy decanters produced. Will definitely make a great Father's Day pressie!
Nose: Softly smoky with touches of earthy peat sneaking out behind vanilla and biscuit dough.
Palate: Maple syrup, cinnamon sticks leading into toasty cereals, and layers of dry smoke.
Finish: Crunchy brown sugar and peanut brittle.
