Ardmore 10yo 2009 #13540 Bottling Note

Tasty Ardmore whisky, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. The Highland single malt was filled in to a single refill barrel in July 2009, and left to mature for a decade. A month after its 10th birthday in August 2019, the liquid was bottled at 46% ABV, with an outturn of 307 bottles for the Provenance series.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Gingersnap biscuits and dark chocolate, supported by lighter vanilla aromas.

Palate: Black pepper, bonfire smoke and cured meats, with some baking spice and honey in there too.

Finish: Some smoky ash, toffee chocolate and a pinch of salt.
