Description
An indie single cask Ardmore, distilled in the Highlands in 2008. It spent the following decade in a single refill barrel, until 2019 when Langside drew the whisky from the cask. An outturn of 307 bottles were released at 46% ABV for the Hepburn's Choice range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Burnt toast and orange marmalade, with an ashy hint and vanilla oak.
Palate
A prickle of spice, with singed wood, snuffed candle and green apple skin, with dried apricot sweetness.
Finish
Vanilla and salted caramel, with just a whisper of peat.
