Indie bottlings of Ardbeg are always very exciting indeed. This one comes to us via the North Star Spirits folks, and has been matured for 12 years - from March 2005 to February 2018. Just 332 bottles of this powerfully smoky Islay whisky were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Caramel, seaweed and Frazzles. A hint of green apple, too.
Palate
Salted butter on slightly burnt rye bread, kippers and white chocolate.
Finish
Smoke, black pepper and a touch of red chilli flake.
