“This was different to how I imagined it was going to be, and in a good way. I'm a huge fan of anything peated and I think most blends & unpeated whiskies smell and taste the same. So was expecting something underwhelming. I was so wrong. The peat is present on the nose but not overpowering. I tried this against a glass of Double oak Man o' Swords and the nose is very similar. Even my partner who doesn't drink whisky agreed. On the palette it's smooth and caramely with a hint of peat. PERFECT. ”

Description
A collaboration between Annandale Distillery and James Cosmo (who you might recognise from a little-known show called Game of Thrones), Storyman is a blended Scotch whisky which includes the distillery's very own Man O’ Words single malt. It's light, fruity, gently sweet, and a little smoky – just the thing for sipping and sharing stories!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy toffee and caramel with vanilla, black pepper spice and a whisper of bonfire.
Palate
Orchard fruit notes and pear drops with creamy vanilla and a hint of peat.
Finish
Rich and creamy with lingering wood smoke.
