Another splendid addition to the peated Man O’Sword range of single malts from the Annandale Distillery! This expression was distilled in 2016 and allowed to mature in a single bourbon cask, before finally being bottled at a hearty 61% ABV. Another top bottling from the young Lowland distillery.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Zesty notes of lemon peels and charred pineapple, with hints of cedar and oak char.
Palate
Dense peat smoke, warming baking spice, floral barley, and vanilla fudge.
Finish
Peppery oak, peanut brittle sweetness, lingering chimney smoke.
