25 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Allt-á-Bhainne distillery, independently bottled by the wonderful Douglas Laing. It was matured in a refill hogshead from February 1993 to February 2018, then bottled with an outturn of 252 bottles.
Heavy vanilla, banana fritters, honey and barley.
Lemon peel, caraway, caramelised dates and more banana.
Baking spices develop with a touch of citrus.
