A Provenance bottling of 7 year old Allt-á-Bhainne single malt Scotch whisky, which was left to age from August 2008 to November 2015 in a single refill hogshead. This was bottled at 46% ABV by the fine folks at Douglas Laing.
Dollops of herbal honey of vanilla biscuits, with a good kick of cooking spice.
Red chilli spice and fresh honey in good measures, with a touch of brioche in the background.
Herbaceous honey once again dominates the finish.
