Hunter Laing independently bottled this vintage Speyside single malt for its First Editions line, after it was distilled by the Allt-á-Bhainne distillery in 1993. It was bottled in 2017 at a cask-strength of 52.9%, non-chill filtered and of natural colour, with a limited outturn of 180 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Cereal grains, vanilla fudge and a hint of marzipan.

Palate

Fruit and nut milk chocolate, with honeyed oak, flowery porridge and a prickle of nutmeg.

Finish

Medium. Brown sugar melts into earthy barley.
