An indie Allt-á-Bhainne, matured in a single refill hogshead cask for 22 years - from November 1995 to May 2018. Following that, those lovely folks from Douglas Laing came along and bottled up the whisky for the Old Particular range, producing just 289 bottles.
Sponge cake, orange peel, baking bread and brown sugar.
Almonds and hazelnuts, shortly livened up by fresh citrus and floral malt.
Slightly grassy, with a waft of spicy oak coming through.
