Spectacular single malt from Allt-á-Bhainne, distilled on 26th July 2000 and independently bottled up by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection! After two decades resting in hogshead casks, including a final eight months in a single fresh sherry butt, the whisky was bottled up in April 2021 at a cask strength of 52.4% ABV. A release of 703 bottles.
Dark chocolate digestives, sherried fruit with cherries, dates, raisins followed by rich, sweet oak.
Nutty malt, jammy berries, and dark chocolate with tangy dried fruits. More rich raisin sweetness with warming spices creeping in.
Mocha, dates, creamy barley lead to dense oak, sweet, mouthcoating spices with gentle prickles of pepper.
