Allt-á-Bhainne 12 #14655 Bottling Note

This is an independent bottling of single malt from the Allt-á-Bhainne Distillery, which was filled into a refill hogshead back in November 2008. After 12 years of maturation, it was bottled up in March 2021 by Douglas Laing for the Provenance series, which highlights the distillery's region, which for Allt-á-Bhainne is Speyside – hence why there's a salmon on the label. 435 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Richly malty, with red apple, leather, and freshly baked chocolate chip muffins in support.

Palate: Caramelised nuts and drying touches of kitchen spices, plus sugary coffee hints.

Finish: More peppercorn and cinnamon, dotted with nectarine and orange.
