From Hokkaido-based Akkeshi distillery, this blend of malt and grain whiskies from across the world is part of a series that celebrates the 24 Japanese sekki, or 'solar terms' (similar to seasons). This is the Shosho blend, with 'shosho' being the point where summer heat is fading, and cooler weather is on the horizon. The whisky within has been drawn from a variety of casks, including mizunara, bourbon, and sherry.
