Abingdon Distillery Inaugural Release 70cl Whisky

Abingdon’s first single malt has arrived! Its inaugural release marries whisky matured in a bourbon cask with whisky from a French red wine cask previously used by Château Margaux. Made with floor-malted English barley, an eight-day fermentation in open wooden washbacks and two yeast strains, it matured at the Oxfordshire-based distillery for just over three years. Bottled at 42.5% ABV without chill filtration or added colour, it's a very impressive debut.
