Aberlour 7 YO 2008 #10976 Bottling Note

An independently bottled Aberlour single malt, matured in a single refill barrel from May 2008 to November 2015. It comes presented as part of Douglas Laing's Provenance series, which received a handsome redesign in early 2016. While you may know Aberlour as being heavily Sherried (particularly if you're a fan of their a'Bunadh series), this shows off their more creamy, barley-rich side.

Aberlour 7 Year Old 2008 (cask 10976) - Provenance (Douglas Laing) Reviews

Hidden gem

I am so blown away by the mellow but full flavour. They took it out of the cask at the perfect moment although only 7 years old and very light the flavour is smooth and sweet but still manages to have a full deep flavour. This one is a missed gem. Buy one if you can find it.
