Aberlour is known for producing some of the finest sherry-cask-matured whiskies in Scotland, and this expression is no exception.
Over 18 years of careful aging created this single malt, first in American oak bourbon barrels then Spanish oak oloroso and Pedro Ximinéz sherry butts. The spirit developed a luxurious depth, where notes of raisins, figs, and cinnamon blend seamlessly with a long, honeyed finish. The rich mouthfeel and well-balanced spice make it a dream dram for those who love their whisky bold yet smooth.

The tasting notes are on point. This is a great single malt that I was fortunate enough to purchase at a discounted rate of $77. What a steal!

Could easily pass for a much older 'single cask' malt(taken with one third water). It really is that good. Can't wait for same product at cask strength. Eric Payne
Very smooth taste & smell...
Even though I'm a big fan of the Islay malts, the 18 Yo Aberlour is still one of my favourite whiskeys to date. A real must for any whiskey drinker
