I've never had better martinis when using Russian Standard
For me, no need to go higher up the vodka ladder: this entry level product contains all I wish for in a vodka. I often have Russian Standard in my cabinet as the most cost effective way to consume high quality spirits. Has a taste like pure liquid candy, very appealing.
I've got a bunch of young fellows from Ireland on this, we've been drinking this for at least 5months now. The only problem I can point out is one morning after a messy messy night we woke up and had Russian accents, any way to fix this??
The one to beat at this price range. Compared it (room temperature, straight) to Nemiroff, Stoli and Sobieski. The Russian Standard beat them all hands down. Smooth, a slight fruit flavour, no bitter aftertaste.
