Description

A one-litre bottling of Mamont Vodka, produced in Georgia, it's six times distilled from four types of grain: malted barley, malted millet, winter wheat, and rye. The distilled alcohol is diluted using local well water from the Alazani Valley, then filtered through silver birch charcoal for a soft, smooth profile with grainy weight and delicate spice.

Nose

Boiled sweets, cereals. A touch of liquorice, perhaps.

Palate

Grainy, thick palate. A little tangy apple, wood, star anise.

Finish

Creamy, with a resurgence of liquorice.
