A classic Italian aperitif, made with a blend of Brachetto and Malvasia grapes, as well as a selection of herbs, fruits and spices. Of course, it's traditionally and enjoyably bitter, with the inclusion of gentian and cinchona. The Rosa version also has rose petal and ginger added to the mix, among other ingredients.
Enjoy it in a long drink with tonic water and a hint of citrus zest, or try it splashed in a glass of good sparkling wine.
