Unfortunately, we can't ship El Bandarra Vermut Red to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
El Bandarra Vermut Red Bottling Note
El Bandarra Vermut is from Catalunya and made with Macabeo and Xarel·lo grapes from the winery's estates in the Alt Penedès. The vermouth features over 50 extracts of herbs, flowers and spices such as cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, liquorice, aniseed, chamomile, rosemary, bay leaf, hops, bitter orange - to name a few! After maceration, it gets a little rest in oak barrels before heading in to the bottle, which is clearly channelling the '50s, and we like it.

Smooth and sweet, with liquorice aromas, citrus notes and a delicate balance of sweetness and bitterness.

El Bandarra Vermut Red Reviews
Fabulous stuff
I love this. The vermud is slightly thinner than some, which makes it a great aperitif. The flavour is amazing and my friend said that the one I made with it was “the best negroni he has ever had”. I agree.

Ok, but a bit of a lightweight
Very easy to drink, but somewhat light. Lacks a bit of bite, orange very much to the fore, so much so that at times it reminded me of sangria.

Vermut as it should be!
Brilliant just over ice!! The way vermut should be drunk. From bottle to glass, Bandarra is the nuts.

Incredibly yummy!
Professional bartender here - this won our blind tasting amongst 12 staff. Incredible well balanced and aromatic, perhaps the best red vermouth ever?! Love the Ballie Ballerson team x

Cocktails not required
Discovered in Barcelona, and fell in love with this brand. Don't waste your time with cocktails on this bad boy! Over ice, slice of orange and an olive, and keep them coming!

Blood and sand
Tastes great in a blood and sand although not as good as my standard sweet vermouth, Dolin, now as many may know, traditionally scotch cocktails are made with a blended scotch of your choice. Don't be afraid of a good (young-ish) heavily sherried single malt though. The results may surprise you.
