Made from pure blue agave, Pasote Blanco tequila is bottled immediately after distillation, and looks as good as it tastes. The steely silver spirit is showcased in a clear bottle and makes for some background to those classic Aztec designs, smartly finished with sharp text and the sleek neck and top.
Nose: Petrichor is the dominating aroma, with sweet, herbaceous notes lingering and hints of spice and smoke.
Palate: A slightly oily quality initially with notes of brine, it bursts to life with strong flecks of white pepper, fragrant lime, taro root, and an organic, sweet agave undertone.
Finish: Exquisitely soft, clean and long. Pinches of salt and vegetal notes.

This tequila makes me happy! I just want to call up a friend, say "get the hell round here" and drink the bottle! Its clean and pure and bright and a wonderful example of a lovingly made blanco. Its just so hard to put the cork back in!
