This 100% agave reposado Tequila from Pancho Datos was rested for ten months in white oak barrels previously used to mature bourbon whiskey. The agave itself is allowed to age for at least six years, before being cooked for two-to-three days in a stone oven. Following that, the agave is fermented, and then it's over to the stills to be double distilled. You can expect plenty of vanilla and caramel notes here, imparted by the cask, as well as earthy agave spiciness running through. The name for this spirit comes from the work of the great historian and poet of the Mexican Revolution, Ricardo Grijalva de León. Pancho Datos Reposado was awarded a Gold Outstanding medal at the 2025 International Wine and Spirit Competition, scoring an incredible 98 points, one of the highest awards in the industry.
Caramel, oak spice and green vegetal notes.

I’ve been drinking premium tequilas for 3-4 years and have tried a bunch. Got my first bottle of this Reposado about 15 months ago - it’s by far my favourite tequila to drink. Tried others since and none taste as good as this one. Would highly recommend!
Delicious neat or mixed, this is a smooth, complex and peppery tequila with plenty of character. Very smooth and the ageing process definitely takes of the top end bite. Highly recommened.
This is delicious, I drank with tonic as I’m not a fan of neat spirits but I did have a try neat with ice and have to say it’s incredibly smooth, with lots of flavour and if you are a quality malt whiskey drinker I think you will love it. It’s definitely got rid of those ghastly memories of dodgy shots with lime and salt which previously was my only experience of Tequila, it’s nothing like that and I would highly recommend.Ordering and delivery was super fast and the bottle is really striking too so looks nice left out.
You will not regret purchasing this tequila. Contrary to other brands, this tequila is masterpiece made to be enjoyed. With its incredible bottle design, the spirit within is smooth, easily drunk and definitely worth the money. You won't regret it.
This is the spirit that opened up a whole world of taste sensations for me. As a smooth single-malt whisky fan, I wanted to branch out a little. Add something to the shelf for when I had friends round. Hearing good things from this up-and-coming Tequila company, I thought I'd branch out. Those who think that Tequila is a '£1 shot with lime' affair need to think again. This is the smoothest spirit, with a beautifully sweet and subtle taste on the pallet. The ageing really softens out this 100% agave product. Even my. Friends that 'don't like tequila' have left wanting a bottle for themselves. A very worthy purchase. I just hope my bottle doesn't run out too soon.
