This 100% agave reposado Tequila from Pancho Datos was rested for ten months in white oak barrels previously used to mature bourbon whiskey. The agave itself is allowed to age for at least six years, before being cooked for two-to-three days in a stone oven. Following that, the agave is fermented, and then it's over to the stills to be double distilled. You can expect plenty of vanilla and caramel notes here, imparted by the cask, as well as earthy agave spiciness running through. The name for this spirit comes from the work of the great historian and poet of the Mexican Revolution, Ricardo Grijalva de León. Pancho Datos Reposado was awarded a Gold Outstanding medal at the 2025 International Wine and Spirit Competition, scoring an incredible 98 points, one of the highest awards in the industry.

A super smooth yet complex tequila. It has a wonderful depth of flavour, vegetal and pepper notes alongside that great agave taste make it an extremely palatable sipper. It’s excellent with tonic and holds its own well in cocktails. I made a Toreador with it that was just delicious. Would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Beautiful taste to a tequila. I'm a huge fan of the pancho datos plato, but the taste after being in a bourbon cask completely opens the options for this wonderful drink. Brilliant on its own and particularly like it as a 'Tommy margarita'
