This 100% agave reposado Tequila from Pancho Datos was rested for ten months in white oak barrels previously used to mature bourbon whiskey. The agave itself is allowed to age for at least six years, before being cooked for two-to-three days in a stone oven. Following that, the agave is fermented, and then it's over to the stills to be double distilled. You can expect plenty of vanilla and caramel notes here, imparted by the cask, as well as earthy agave spiciness running through. The name for this spirit comes from the work of the great historian and poet of the Mexican Revolution, Ricardo Grijalva de León. Pancho Datos Reposado was awarded a Gold Outstanding medal at the 2025 International Wine and Spirit Competition, scoring an incredible 98 points, one of the highest awards in the industry.

This is a quality tequila. It’s smooth and has character, fantastic for a Tommy’s or as a sipper. I’ve already recommended that my bar stock it. 5 Stars!
An outstanding demonstration of what tequila should be. Incredible neat, with a real depth of flavour, and also unique enough to hold its own in some of the great cocktails. A very special drink.
Truly a tequila for all! Soft enough to not deter inexperienced drinkers, but with enough complexity to intrigue even the most seasoned tequila drinkers. This tequila stands up incredibly to drank on its own; or to hold its ground in a delicious cocktail with other ingredients. It's the perfect spirit to educate the public away from mixto tequilas and showcases everything a true tequila can be. Not overly expensive and the perfect addition to my home-bar; the bottle fits right in. Big thanks to the reps that introduced me to this wonderful spirit.
Absolutely amazing. Not something I would usually have ever tried until a friend showed me. Now I'm more than happy to sit and drink this neat the same I would a good Scotch.
