Master distiller Arturo Fuentes and master blender Alejandro Garcia Páez create the Cenote Tequila range using blue agave which has matured for at least 6 years. Following distillation, the Reposado expression spends three months maturing in American oak casks, helping to develop a fruity, creamy sweetness to the distinctive spirit. The cork looks a bit like a crown, in all its shininess and ornate design. That's wonderful. It deserves the crown for being so tasty.
Buttery at first, but before long you'll find notes of fresh hay, lemon peel and toasted sugar.
I love the Cenote Anejo, but I think it has all the deep richness of an Extra Anejo. Well, to me this repo is as smooth and rich and deep and many authentic anejos- they are all upscaled! Give it a try- its great!
