Produced at Hacienda La Capilla in Mexico's Los Altos de Jalisco, Caba Maya Tequila is produced with 100% blue Weber agave, slowly cooked by vapour pressure in an autoclave. Fermented in wooden casks before distillation, this Añejo edition was treated to an 18 month rest in American oak barrels, imparting silky soft notes of oaken vanilla, caramel, and soft spice to the vibrant, zesty character at its core.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Waves of toasted oak, flamed citrus, and a sprinkling of cacao join sweet, juicy agave, toasted nuts, soft spices, and trickles of caramel.
