A brand of premium Tequila, Cabo Maya is made at Compañía Tequilera Hacienda La Capilla S.A. de C.V, a distillery founded in 1999 and located in town Capilla de Guadalupe in Tepatitlan, Mexico, which is known as Los Altos de Jalisco. It is made from 100% Agave Azul Tequilana Weber, with each batch belonging to the same harvest. The piñas, or heart of the agave, are issued a phytosanitary certification, a tracking certificate that makes sure we comply with statutory and regulatory plant health standards. The agave is slowly cooked through vapour pressure in autoclaves and then fermented in wooden casks, before being distilled in copper vats.
Cabo Maya currently offers three Tequilas, a Plata (blanco), Reposado, and Añejo.
