Michel Couvreur's Intravagan'za is a single malt spirit (it hasn't been aged quite long enough to be called a whisky), distilled in Scotland and matured in a duo of casks which previously held Moscatel wine and Oloroso sherry. The cask influence adds a wonderful balance of both dark, fruity notes and slightly more syrupy caramel.
Silky caramel, berries, pear and almond tart and a floral bouquet, with toasted oak and a hint of smoke.
