Platte Valley Bottling Note

This is an earthenware jug of Platte Valley, a 100% corn spirit matured for 30 months before finding its way into its handsome home. Sweet and buttery with savoury touches of real corn-on-the-cob popping up along the way. Also, when the bottle is empty, you will be presented with the perfect opportunity to start a jug band.

Tasty tipple.
Not sophisticated but flavoursome and very smooth, goes well with mixers too.

Better than what it seems
A native of the state its made in, its a corn whiskey that has light aging which imparts a gentle tinge of color. Tasty in its own right. Not a regal whiskey but it doesn't pretend to do so. If anything its a premium white whiskey. A testament to the old tradition of moonshining in the Ozark Plateau in the southern part of the state.
