Chicken Cock Heritage Bottling Note
A blend of bourbons sourced from Kentucky and Indiana aged around 4 months to 2 years. It therefore, cannot be called "whiskey" on these shores.
Chicken Cock is a resurrected brand, best known for being smuggled across America in tin cans during Prohibition. Ironically, when the brand was relaunched (with a load of zany flavoured offerings in quick-chill metallic bottles) they themselves became victims of crime as they lost 10,000 bottles to a daring truck heist. Quite different to the bootleggin' days when it was the authorities intercepting their shipments!
