Pure tonic is better
It smelled like gin when I opened the bottle, but an artificial funky lime taste completely takes over. Tastes like some very old lime flavoured candy. The tonic tasted better without it.

Drinkable but not like gin and expensive
It has a sweet peppermint taste with a hint of juniper. None of the harsh spicey alcohol taste which is to be expected. They need to introduce some stronger spice to the mix to counteract the sweet taste.

It's as expensive as full alcohol gin but not as good as the Tanqueray product.
