Freihof 1885 Himbeere Geist (Raspberry) Reviews

BANG raspberry

First introduction to geist with this but what a brilliant raspberry flavour - it just smacks you in the face with pure unadulterated raspberry-ness. I'd disagree with the below comment however, it does actually make wonderful drinks - I combined it with the lanique rose liqueur in a mojito-style drink which was excellent, if I say so myself.

Dangerously quaffable

This is surprisingly delicious. You'd think that this would just about be good enough to be an ingredient in a cocktail. Wrong. The surprising Rasperryness of it combined with a lack of burn (it tastes really "clean") makes it a straight sipper time and time again. Definitely one to delight guests with!
