Firefly Moonshine comes all the way from Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina. This is their Apple Pie flavoured expression, with bursts with notes of baked apple, warm cinnamon bark and even a little bit of flaky pie crust!
Quite a nice taste. After watching moonshiners couldn't wait to get my hands on a mason jar and drink from one. In reality it's just like drinking from a large jam jar and difficult to gauge how much you're drinking each session. Sat in my chair and without realising drank half a jar and it certainly does the job although it's very sticky sweet and if you get it on your hands it's like sugar water. Think I'll stick to good quality whiskey from now on and if I do go for another moonshine it will be in a bottle ?

Just amazing! It tastes like apple strudel, the warmth you get when it goes down is just sensational. I have found my new favourite drink.
