Firefly Moonshine comes all the way from Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina. This is their Apple Pie flavoured expression, with bursts with notes of baked apple, warm cinnamon bark and even a little bit of flaky pie crust!
Never had moonshine. Its a whole new flavour for my taste buds. It tastes exactly how its described. Best way i can explain what spirit moonshine is similar to is a cross between white rum and vodka with a twist. Its a 10/10 from me
OMG what a lovely drink! Not for the faint hearted. Very smooth with a warm afterglow as it goes down.
Honestly this is the nicest drink ive ever had, it tastes so nice and is super easy to drink! Ordered one bottle to try it, just bought 3 more.
The usual great clean shine that I have come to expect from firefly moonshine, paired with a surprisingly great complex flavour profile, something that I haven’t seen work too well with a corn mash before. Not an overly sweet drink with crisp tart apples that give it more of a crumble feel as opposed to a pie, and a slight hint of cinnamon on the palate, but the real surprise comes in the after taste. The cinnamon transforms in to a buttery taste and feel in the mouth followed by almost savoury pastry vibe. As the nights get longer and the evenings get colder I will definitely be ordering more
