Death's Door New Make Spirit (2011 Harvest)
From Death's Door Spirits in Wisconsin comes a New Make Spirit, or 'white dog', as it's often referred to in America. An unaged whiskey made with 80% Washington Island wheat and 20% malted barley from Chilton, Wisconsin. It spends a brief period in uncharred Minnesota oak barrels before being bottled. Plenty of herbal, earthy notes paired with vanilla and subtle fruit notes. Well worth a try.
